Kennedy, who scored 10 goals in 78 games for the Sabres last season, is expected to provide depth at a position that already features Brandon Dubinsky, Alexander Frolov, Sean Avery and tough guy Derek Boogaard. Kennedy, a Buffalo native, was stunned when he found out about the buyout but recently told the Buffalo News he was ready to move on. |
