Each week, one highlight wil... » Tim Kennedy signs one-year deal with New York Rangers (SportingNews.com) The New York Rangers announced Monday they have signed LW Tim Kennedy, who was bought out by the Buffalo Sabres earlier this summer after he won a $1 million arbitration decision. Kennedy, who scored 10 goals in 78 games for the Sabres last season, is expected to provide depth at a position that already features Brandon Dubinsky, Alexander Frolov, Sean Avery and tough guy Derek Boogaard. Kennedy, a Buffalo native, was stunned when he found out about the buyout but recently told the Buffalo News he was ready to move on. |
