The Sabres finally feel good about themselves. It's an emotion they can carry around for a week. Buffalo ended a pair of long losing streaks by beating New Jersey, 2-1, in a shootout Tuesday. It was the Sabres' only win in their last six games and ended a franchise record of 12 straight regulation-losses on the road. "It's been a tough run," coach Lindy Ruff said. "Everybody knows that. Every player felt it. Everyone around the team has felt it. "To finally win one, at least you can feel good going into the break," added Ruff, whose team returns to the ice Tuesday in Montreal.
